HFPJC is proud to launch the renovation of the Rachov Ohel, its 11th project this season, despite the challenges and obstacles faced by Covid-19. Our workers operated safely and efficiently to advance the various cemetery projects while ensuring that their health isn't compromised. Thus, we have merited to execute renovation and preservation in eleven cemeteries so far, with more slated to start soon.
The historical cemetery in Kasho, Slovakia, resting site of a host of venerated rabbis and scholars, underwent a series of important renovations, generously sponsored by descendants and followers. A substantial part of the wall was rebuilt, a lot for parking and a pathway was paved, and the ohels of the rabbis have begun a thorough renovation.
HISTORIC DISCOVERY! Descendants rejoice at the amazing discovery of their ancestral gravestone! After many years of negotiations, HFPJC was finally able to annex part of the cemetery that was excluded from today's registry. When the newly annexed plot was fenced and cleaned, many gravestones and gravestone stubs were found, among them the long-sought fragmented matzeva of Rabbi Shimon Lieberman zt"l, the Sena'r Rav!
The large cemetery in Szaniszlo, Romania, was successfully enclosed with a durable, concrete wall in a recent restoration undertaking. Descendants rejoice at this achievement in their quest to honor and commemorate their ancestral cemetery.
Intense intervention finally yields positive results for the cemetery in Gibart, Hungary. After many years of being only partially enclosed, HFPJC secured permission to annex a large part of the original cemetery property that was excluded from current maps, and a new wall was built to fence in the entire cemetery.
HFPJC commends the amazing efforts of the Almosd descendants on behalf of their ancestral cemetery. Following an evaluation in mid-2019, the families immediately united in their goal to restore the abandoned cemetery and 460 members donated small amounts, which gradually accumulated to cover all costs. Thus, they succeeded in restoring the cemetery fully in record time!
A monumental milestone was achieved in the ongoing efforts to restore the Bialy Kamien cemetery, when the city council approved installing a monument in the cemetery. This achievement marked the first step in the path of securing permission to fully enclose and commemorate the entire cemetery.
Descendants work quickly and determinedly to fund the full restoration of the cemetery in Csokvaomany, Hungary. Despite various setbacks due to terrain conditions, HFPJC ensures that the project proceeds with speed and competence, being completed successfully to the satisfaction of all parties.
The old cemetery in Schattendorf, Austria is now completely enclosed with a beautiful brick and iron gate, isolating and commemorating this sacred resting site. In close cooperation with the local community and the descending families, HFPJC succeeded in resolving all permit issues and preparatory hindrances until the project was successfully finalized.
After intense fundraising efforts, the Viseu de Mijlok project is finally launched. A strong, durable wall is erected around the entire cemetery, isolating and protecting the site. The descendants keep their sights ahead, continuing the efforts to fund the full gravestone restorations.
The HFPJC team is prepared to service all your cemetery-related needs.
